St. Andrew Lutheran Church holds Good Friday “Cross Walk”
One local church has already begun their Easter commemorations.
St. Andrew Lutheran Youth Fellowship in West Fargo held their annual Cross Walk Friday.
The walk started at Natural Grocers in Fargo and continued down 13th Ave. for over 2 miles before arriving back at the church in West Fargo.
It is an important youth engagement event for the church.
One participant says that events like this one help young people in the church feel a sense of community.
“It helps bring other people together, and remind you that you’re not the only one believing this, and as you grow you can help teach younger people the same thing.” Miriam Harvala, a member of the Youth Fellowship, said.
Following the walk, participants gathered at the church to share a meal.
