Mac Swanson Secures Franchise Records; Force win 46th Game of the Season
MAC SWANSON BROKE THE FRANCHISE RECORD FOR POINTS AND ASSISTS IN A SEASON; FORCE DEFEAT WATERLOO 6-1.
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)–Fargo Force Forward and North Dakota hockey commit, Mac Swanson, secured two franchise records in Friday nights 6-1 win over Waterloo. With his first period assist, Swanson notched assist number 47 on the season (a record) and his 71st point (a record.) Swanson added a goal in the 2nd period as well, his 25th of the season.
With the win, the Force continue to add to their franchise record for wins in a season, now at 46. Fargo will aim for the sweep over Waterloo Saturday night at 6:05 P.M. back at Scheels Arena.
The Force have Five games remaining in the regular season. The Clark Cup playoffs begin April 15. Fargo will have a bye for the first round, however, and will open their playoff run in the Western Conference Semifinals on April 19.
