NoDak Forward Riese Gaber Agrees to Professional Deal

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR)–Friday nights loss to Michigan in the NCAA Tournament officially ended the the Riese Gaber era in Grand Forks. The four-year North Dakota Forward agreed to a two-year, one-way deal with the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League. The Checkers are the top minor league affiliate for the NHL’s Florida Panthers. The deal will go into affect next season.
Gaber ends his career with North Dakota playing in a total of 142 games. He scored 30-plus points in each of the past three seasons. He ends his career with 64 and 129 points.
