Change of Plea In Fatal Motorcycle Crash Last April

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A West Fargo woman charged in a deadly motorcycle crash last April has changed her plea to guilty to reckless endangerment.

A count of manslaughter was dismissed on a motion by the state.

Taquoya Saldana was originally charged with reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, and DUI but additional charges were added after an investigation.

31-year-old Thomas Fradet of Fargo was westbound on Main Avenue and turning onto 17th Street East in West Fargo when reports show Saldana ran into his motorcycle at a high rate of speed.

She will be sentenced on May 20.
