Yuj Yoga Studio hosts puppy yoga
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Yuj Yoga Studio in Fargo held their first ever puppy yoga sessions Sunday.
The event was part of a partnership with Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue, who brought the puppies to the studio.
Almost a thousand dollars was raised from the event to benefit the rescue, while giving participants a unique yoga experience.
Yuj owner Allison Grippe says that she was excited to be able to bring an event like this to her studio.
“They have a way of really reminding us that it’s okay to play and struggle and feel lost and stumble and do all of those things. So, I just feel like it’s good for people to be around animals, especially puppies, because they have so many natural things to teach us.”
All the dogs at the event were rescued and are available for adoption. You can contact the Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue for more information.
