Future use of A.I. in Cass County
FARGO, N.D. – (KVRR) – Government officials gathered to discuss the future of artificial intelligence in Cass County. These leaders talked about the opportunities, challenges and the need for caution in the use of A.I.
According to the Department of Technology for the Cass County Government, the use of A.I. in the county has ramped up rapidly within the last few months. At this meeting, mayors and other high-ranking officials were in attendance to get a better understanding how it can be used in the county.
“This is something we don’t want to fumble the ball on,” said Bob Henderson, the director of technology. “We want to make sure we find a solution, we find the right solution. And we can deliver things for our citizens in a cost effective, creative way. Having those people in the room is great because we are no longer thinking in a bubble. We are thinking what’s best to serve the region of the Red River Valley.”
Henderson says they’ve been using A.I. for job descriptions and internal memos so far and are exploring to use in other areas as well.
