The Toughest Monster Trucks around are heading to Grand Forks this weekend

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Toughest Monster Trucks around are heading to Grand Forks this weekend.

The Toughest Monster Trucks Tour stops at the Alerus Center Saturday afternoon.

Before that, they made a pit stop on the KVRR morning show here in Fargo.

The show starts at 3pm, but you can also buy tickets for the pit party starting at 12:30.

There, you can meet the drivers and get pictures and autographs.

These driver can get up to 40 feet of air on jumps. Their goal is to pull off amazing feats that fans dream to see.

Driver Daron Basl explains, “My favorite part of monster trucks is the thrill of going out there and doing something that I would want to see in the stands. I was a little kid watching these things, and I was like ‘Man, why doesn’t he do this that way?’ So I go out there and that’s what I try and do and that gets pretty exciting for me.”

Saturday’s show will decide the tour’s champion driver.
