Additional funding approved to move West Fargo chambers with city staff offices

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — The West Fargo City Commission voted unanimously to approve additional funding as the plan moves forward to relocate city staff offices to the former WEX building, south of I-94.
City Administrator Dustin Scott wanted an additional $325,000 on top of an already $500,000 budget to replace older technology in the new location.
The new location is expected to be ready in June.
The current city commission chambers will also be relocated to the WEX campus.
That move will provide more space for the current crowded police headquarters.
The five-year lease will cost about $725,000 annually.
