Below Zero Wrestling celebrates third anniversary amid growing popularity

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Below Zero Wrestling celebrated three years of bringing wrestling to Fargo-Moorhead with WrestleVersary 3.

WrestleVersary 3 marked a big milestone for local professional wrestling outfit Below Zero Wrestling

To be able to see where we’ve been and how we’ve grown, and how the wrestlers that have been with us, the ring crew that’s been with us, how everyone has continued to grow with us, you know, in the BZW brand has been awesome.

Below Zero Wrestling started holding events three years ago, and now it’s become a staple of the Fargo-Moorhead wrestling scene.

It all started with a post on Facebook

My co-owner Zach, he put a post on Facebook wanting to start a wrestling promotion. We talked for probably 6 to 8 months about what we wanted, how we wanted to do things. Talked with a few other promoters. Just to kind of learn a little bit about the stuff. And then the best thing is just to dive in.

Now fans are lining up to come and check out the show.

The action is great. There’s so much wrestlers that like to be something else. A whole other of a level.

Current Below Zero Wrestling champion Brandon Nitro has been wrestling for almost a decade.

He says that Below Zero stands out because of the way they treat their wrestlers.

There are a lot of locked rooms you go in to and you know the energy isn’t the way it is here. They treat us very well here. They want us to come back. They want us to have a good time, and they take care of their talent.

And he currently has no plans of leaving anytime soon.

They’re going to have to kick me out to get rid of me. I mean, I’m their top champion right now. There is no way they can get rid of me anytime soon.

Below Zero said they’re hoping to keep on growing.
