Basketball Charity Game Features Harlem Globetrotters And NBA Alumni
West Fargo High School welcomed some celebrity basketball players into their gym.
Harlem Globe trotters, NBA Champion Alumni and our very own announcer Mike McCann all took part in the deputies association charity basketball game.
Globetrotters showing off some moves while raising money for the deputy injury relief fund. The event is in its 10th year and a favorite for not just the fans but the players too.
“The best part of being a Harlem globetrotter is putting smiles on the faces of the young and the young at heart because we can actually make the older people feel like the little kids as well so it’s been a lot of fun,” says Harlem Globetrotter Tyrone “Hollywood” Brown.
The fund helps all deputies in line of duty. Some of the proceeds will also go toward the 10th annual food and toy drive for the needy.
