One Minneapolis officer killed in mass shooting, others injured

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KVRR/FOX 9) — One Minneapolis police officer is dead after a shooting in a neighborhood south of downtown.
Law enforcement says six people were shot during the incident: two officers and four citizens.
It happened in the area of Blaisdell Avenue and 22nd Avenue.
Governor Walz says Minnesota State Patrol is helping local police with the situation.
ATF agents are also assisting with the situation.
First responders have also gathered at Hennepin County Medical Center where the two officers were transported.
