Families get a chance to cool off at Summer Splash
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – West Fargo Events gave families in the community a chance to come out for some fun in the sun at their annual Summer Splash.
The event was held at The Lights in West Fargo, and featured sprinklers, water balloons and other water themed events for children and families to get out and cool off.
They also had crafting stations where kids could learn how to turn a paper bag into a jellyfish.
Event Coordinator Britta Timm said that they’re always working to host free events like this for people throughout the community.
“We’re doing movies after dark which is more of a PG-13 audience. We just showed Happy Gilmore last Friday, we’ve got another one coming up in July showing How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, a little bit more of a date night themed event. And then we’ve got more family events coming up. We’ve got our West Fargo Events Carnival next Wednesday, we’ve got a whole list of stuff.”
West Fargo Events will have more events for the whole family throughout the summer. You can find a link to their events calendar on our website.
