Fargo Man Told Assault Victim He Would “Rip His Face Off”

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A man found lying in the street, bleeding from his nose and mouth, told police he was assaulted by a man who threatened to “rip his face off”.

Fargo Police identified Ahmed Hassan as the suspect and arrested him for aggravated assault and robbery.

The attack happened around 5 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

The victim told police Hassan asked him for a layer to cover up, and when he refused, the man assaulted him.

Hassan had a chain wrapped around his fist and was digging into the victim’s face, mouth, and eyes.

When he was arrested, Hassan had the victim’s cane.

He also claimed self-defense, but witnesses backed the victim’s claim.
