Gov. Burgum says we’re living “in a dictatorship” during Michigan campaign stop

WALKER, Mich. (KVRR/CNN) — Governor Doug Burgum said, “If you want to find out what it’s like to live in a dictatorship, we’re living in one now because in a democracy, congress sets the rules. In a dictatorship, one party just starts shoving rules down on thing that raises the cost of everything.”

That’s Governor Doug Burgum speaking in Walker, Michigan. He was joined by his wife, Kathryn.

Burgum joins as the “special guest” during the Trump Campaign, Republican National Committee and Michigan Republican Party business tour and economic discussion event.

He is one of the contenders in Trump’s search for a vice president.

The Republican National Convention is set for July 15 though the 18th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
