Ground Search Suspended for Robert Shaw, Sheriff To Pursue Other Investigative Measures

OTTER TAIL CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office has suspended ground search operations for 79-year-old Robert Shaw, who has dementia.

They say they will continue to pursue other investigative measures and are not requesting any more volunteers.

Massive searches have been done since Shaw went missing from his rural Henning home Saturday morning.

They have included numerous aircraft, K9s and hundreds of volunteers, firefighters as well as a number of search and rescue teams.
