Incoming UND hockey forward drafted by Colorado Avalanche in 3rd round of NHL Draft

LAS VEGAS (KVRR) – Incoming UND hockey forward Will Zellers was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the third round of the 2024 NHL Draft.

Zellers was the 76th overall pick and was a star in the USHS-Prep league with Shattuck St. Mary’s 18U Prep, scoring 111 points in 54 games thanks to 57 goals and 54 assists.
