FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Upgraded charges are filed against a Horace teen accused of driving drunk and causing a head-on crash that left three girls with serious injuries.

18-year-old McKenzie Moser is charged with criminal vehicular injury.

She was arrested June 13 and had a blood-alcohol level of point 194 – over twice the legal limit for driving.

Two 16-year-old girls and a 14-year-old girl were in the other car.

Moser and the three girls all suffered head wounds.

Two of the girls suffered broken vertebrae, one had a broken leg and one had a lacerated spleen.

Moser was involved in a hit-and-run before the crash in Fargo where officers found the front bumper and license plate to her car.

Her next court appearance is Thursday.
