Farm in the Dell Launches “The Market at Farm in the Dell”

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Farm in the Dell has launched “The Market at Farm in the Dell”, its version of a farmers market.

It features farm fresh vegetables and flowers straight from the garden that people from across the community can buy and support the workers at the Dell.

They had a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the launch.

Their team of around 40 people work daily to freshen, water, and maintain the garden during the season.

With their mission of transforming disabilities into abilities this team works to fill their spirits, sharpen their minds, and cultivate joy.

So I think people should come out to The Farm in The Dell to support the mission. It’s such a beautiful thing out here, when you come out here to buy your produce you get to meet the farmers who grew your food. You get to see where it was grown, you get to see how it was grown. When you step into the Market you’re really stepping onto the farm and seeing the whole operation. So I really think its a really special place to buy your produce,” said Anna Sather, Farm in the Dell Executive Director.

The Market will be open every Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. until the end of the growing season.
