Moorhead Man Faces Mandatory Sentence After Pleading Guilty to Distributing Meth

MINNEAPOLIS (KVRR) — A Moorhead man pleads guilty in federal court in Minneapolis to distributing meth.
According to court documents, 46-year-old Jamie White acquired over 500 grams of meth from April 2023 to last February.
His home was searched last October during an investigation into the alleged restraint of a woman in his basement.
Officers found over 400 grams of powder fentanyl laced with the veterinary tranquilizer xylazine.
He was arrested and then released on bond in December and returned to distributing meth.
With White’s guilty plea, he is subject to a 15-year mandatory prison sentence due to prior felonies.
A sentencing hearing will be scheduled at a later date.
The case was investigated by U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Moorhead Police Department and other supporting agencies.
