Political Candidate And Wife Charged With Stealing Hundreds of Signs in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Minnesota House candidate and his wife face charges after authorities found hundreds of stolen signs in their backyard in Alexandria.
Judd Hoff faces one count of aiding and abetting felony theft and receiving stolen property.
His wife, Wendy Hoff, faces one count of felony theft.
The signs are worth thousands of dollars and some had “Vote Hoff” painted over them.
Alexandria Police say the couple was arrested during a traffic stop on Saturday.
Judd Hoff is running for state House in District 12B.
Douglas County DFL executive committee rescinded its endorsement on Sunday.
