Fargo man arrested in connection to Moorhead shootout

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — A second arrest is made in connection to a Moorhead shootout last week.

The Metro Street Crimes Task Force located and arrested 24-year-old Markees Dempsey of Fargo.

Moorhead Police say he was involved in the shooting in the 1000 block of 14th Street South on August 7, south of MSUM.

He was arrested in Fargo and is being held at the Cass County Jail.

Dempsey faces charges of aiding and abetting attempted murder and assault with a firearm and burglary.
