Wells Fargo Apologizing for Processing Error that Resulted in Overdrawn Accounts

They said the processing error that caused the problem was fixed overnight

 

NATIONAL — A banking giant is apologizing again.

Wells Fargo says it is processing the error that caused many of their customers to pay their bills twice and it resulted in several accounts being overdrawn.

Angry Wells Fargo customers took their frustrations out on Twitter and the company said they would refund any related fees or charges.

They said the processing error that caused the problem was fixed overnight.

Wells Fargo is coming off of a rough year after the banking scandal of 2017 left the company without some of their top executives.

It was discovered associates were creating fake accounts in order to meet “unrealistic” sales goals.
