Governor Walz’s motorcade involved in crash on the way to Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WIS. (KVRR/FOX 9) — Governor Tim Walz’s motorcade is involved in a crash on the way to a speaking engagement for the Democratic vice presidential nominee in Milwaukee.
According to a pool report from New York Times reporter Jazmine Ulloa, several vehicles, including the press van, were involved in the crash.
A staff member suffered a broken arm, as it was sandwiched between two other vehicles.
Governor Walz’s vehicle was not involved in the crash.
In social media posts, Ulloa added some reporters suffered scrapes and bruises, while one suffered a broken nose and another may be dealing with a concussion.
Earlier in the day, Governor Walz met with Minnesota labor leaders on the tarmac at MSP.
He is scheduled to speak at the Milwaukee Labor Council’s “Laborfest 2024” this afternoon.
