UPDATE: Fargo Police Release Name of Saturday Morning Murder Victim

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR-UPDATE 4:20PM 09/22/24) — Police reveal the identity of the man who was shot and killed early Saturday in north Fargo.

He is 25-year-old Jalab Moses of Fargo.

Police arrested 24-year-old Tyreik Taylor-Roberts after the fatal shooting in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue North and say he admitted shooting Moses.

He was taken into custody without incident for murder.

Police say Roberts and Moses were known to each other and got into a verbal altercation before the shooting.

A weapon was recovered at the scene.

They say it’s an on-going investigation and there is no further information to release at this time.

They arrested 24-year-old Tyreik Taylor-Roberts after the fatal shooting in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue North.

He was taken into custody without incident.

A weapon believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered at the scene.

The identity of the adult male victim has not been released.
