MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — After another weekend of serving customers, The Freez in Moorhead has suddenly closed.

A sign out front says the business is also once again for sale.

The ice cream shop that also sells burgers, fries and other food typically closes for the season sometime in October.

It was built in 1960 and was a Tastee Freez for decades before losing the franchise a few years ago.

It has changed ownership a few times over the years and had been sold to a new owner last winter.

We have reached out for a comment about the closure and sale but haven’t heard back.
