KPOT Restaurant Brings New Dining Experience to Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) –The wait is officially over, KPOT is open for diners to taste traditional Asian hot pot with a mix of Korean BBQ flavors.
It’s located at 4410 17th Avenue South and replaces the former Johnny Carino’s.
“We wanted to bring something different to the Fargo area. KPOT as a company is growing a lot in the Midwest and a lot around the country. And we think that Fargo is a great location to open up this concept,” said William Cheng, Franchise Partner.
The dining experience is different from your typical restaurant. Diners here get to order as much food as they like from chicken, meat, seafood, noodles, or vegetables. Once the food arrives, diners get to cook it right at the table.
“Fun can be had at the entire restaurant not just from an eating perspective but also the process of enjoying cooking the food, seasoning it yourself, marinating the meats,” said Benny Cheng, franchise partner.
The owners, who are brothers, wanted to open a restaurant together and decided they wanted to bring something for the Fargo area to try. While it did have some setbacks during the renovation process, the brothers are excited for diners to come in.
“We know there’s been some buzz about the restaurant so you know we’re excited to welcome everyone from Fargo to the restaurant and give them a good interactive dining experience,” said Benny Cheng.
Diners looking to try this new restaurant can walk in; there’s no reservation required.
