Residents at Edgewood Get into the Holiday Spirit

It is beginning to look and sound a lot like Christmas at Edgewood assist living in Fargo.

The center hosted its annual holiday celebration featuring melodies sang by the Carl Ben Eielsen Honor Choir.

The event also featured more than 20 vendor booths providing convenient holiday shopping for residents and their family members.

Organizers say the event is a fun way that residents can get into the holiday spirit.

“We’ve been doing it for eight years now, and the residents love the decorations, they love the spirit of Christmas, they love shopping coming to them we just make it easy to kick off the holiday season,” says Serena Jiskra, Director of Marketing at Edgewood.

A bake sale was also held at the event to help raise money for the Midwest Parkinson’s Initiative.
