Cass Clay Hunger Coalition Hosted 7th Annual Hunger and Health Summit

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Cass Clay Hunger Coalition hosting its 7th annual Hunger and Health Summit.

More than 40 organizations collaborated on solutions for addressing the root causes of hunger and handling their health.

This year’s theme was Nourish and Flourish: Addressing Hunger and Health Together.

Several speakers and panelists spoke on self-care, new policies, healthcare and making sure college students are well nourished.

“We talk about innovative solutions, we discuss maybe something difficult over the past year. Some new things that we could be doing in the community to support our neighbors and those that are in need of services,” said Jill Ambuehl, Coalition Coordinator.

The coalition hosts meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at Fargo Cass Public Health.
