Fargo Cass Public Health encouraging people to quit smoking/vaping for Quit Week

FARGO — This week marks the seventh annual Quit Week in North Dakota, a statewide campaign encouraging people to quit smoking, vaping, chewing, or using nicotine pouches.

Fargo Cass Public Health offers assistance to break nicotine addiction through personalized coaching and replacement therapy medication.

This week they are offering walk-ins every day from 11 a.m. To 1 p.m. so people can meet with tobacco treatment specialists and develop personalized quit plans.

“If you’re ever curious, give us a call. Step in, we’re happy to talk you through it and what it could look like for you, and talk you through any concerns or questions that you might have. That’s what we’re here for it to help,” said Abby Lange, health promotion director for Fargo Cass Public Health.
