Fargo man killed while walking on I-29 is identified

CASS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — The name of a man who was hit and killed while walking on I-29 early Friday has been released.

He is 71-year-old Terry Koppang of Fargo.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says the fatal crash happened around 3:45 a.m. near Argusville.

They say Koppang entered the road and was hit by a semi driven by a man from St. Cloud.

Koppang died at the scene.
