Victim identified in fatal crash near Sanborn, North Dakota

BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) — Authorities identify the people involved in a fatal crash involving a semi near Sanborn, North Dakota. The crash happened after 8:00 Monday morning.

Sara Leick, 46, of Valley City, was killed in the crash.

She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 15-year-old girl from Valley City at the intersection with State Highway 1 when it collided with a semi hauling soybeans.

That driver was 59-year-old Dwight Albrecht, of Sanborn. He suffered a serious injury.

The teen was taken to Sanford in Fargo with a life-threatening injury.
