Suspect Suspected Of Taking Own Life After Domestic Assault and Shooting Saturday in Fargo

(UPDATE 11.26.24 @ 4:55 P.M.) Fargo Police Department is identifying 30-year-old Fargo resident Mesud Heco as the deceased individual.
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Two people were injured and a suspect is dead after a domestic assault early Saturday in Fargo.
Police were called to the 5500 block of 36th Street South around 2:20 a.m.
The suspect chased the assault victim inside a townhome and fired shots into the residence, hitting an occupant.
Both people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect then fled and was later located in north Fargo but didn’t respond to officers commands.
That person was found dead inside a vehicle from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
