A Fargo Man Uses Personal Experience For An Event To Give Back

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — One man, known to decorate his Jeep for the holiday season, decided to take it a step further and give back to the community.

Dino Diaz organized the event, “Christmas Jeep Run For Kids”.

Growing up he was able to receive presents from ministries and the community.

He took his personal experience and ran with the idea to the non-profit Bridging the Gap, known for helping kids in the FM metro.

The non-profit agreed to assist and provided a list of families in need.

“Twenty years from now for those kids to be like, man I remember when I got this and it’s just like an experience they’ll never forget. When people are reading about this, it kind of gets them in that mindset number one like hey, just cause your kids have a like a good Christmas experience, that doesn’t mean that all these other kids don’t,” said Dino Diaz, Organizer.

He will be heading out Wednesday night to deliver presents to kids.
