Fargo Sees The Return of Pizza Franchise, Happy Joes

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Good news for all you cuisine connoiseurs out there. You will no longer have to drive more than an hour for a taste of a Taco Pizza.

Happy Joes has officially returned to Fargo with their grand opening taking place this morning.

The pizza chain had closed several of its locations in the Fargo-Moorhead area in 2021.

With new owners taking over the Happy Joes in Fargo, they are hoping to live up to the presitige of the original name.

“I think it’s about the pizza, obviously the arcade is something that they traditionally have done. It’s the wave of the future, it’s more or less for pizzas what Chipotle is for Mexican food. Everyone wants to pick up their comfort food and bring it home and enjoy it there and that’s what we kind of want to bring to the market,” said Dan Labernik, Owner of Happy Joes.

The owners are asking for everyone to be patient with their rollout, but they are hoping everyone will come down and try their pizza.
