Two vehicles hit same snowplow in Walsh County on I-29

MINOT, N.D. (KVRR) — Around 3:45 p.m., a North Dakota DOT snowplow was traveling in the northbound left lane of I-29, near Minto, when it was hit by a Ford truck.

That driver was a 72-year-old man from Edinburg.

A KIA Sorrento followed and drove into the fog of snow.

That vehicle, driven by a 56-year-old man from Manitoba, also hit the plow.

No one was injured. The driver of the truck was cited with careless driving.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol wants to remind people to yield to the snowplow drivers and to stay a safe distance away.
