Taste of Philly to open soon in Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Soon, there will be a new place in Fargo to get a hot, Philly cheese steak.
Taste of Philly, on 13th Avenue, was busy installing the sign for its new restaurant.
The owners of Fargo’s Taste of Philly are hoping to open the doors to customers January 10.
It’s the first Taste of Philly in North Dakota and will offer cheesesteak sandwiches, wings, and specialties like their meatball grinder and their ruben sandwiches.
The franchise got its start in Denver in 1993, and became a national chain in the past year.
Operations Director Ryan Kitlitz says, “First one opened about 30 years ago in Denver, and we’ve grown to 24 in Colorado. And just this year we expanded into Arizona and now, North Dakota.”
Kitlitz says they looked at a few other areas before choosing their location by the Promenadè on 13th strip mall.
