NDSU are champions once again after taking down Montana State 35-32 in the FCS Championship
FRISCO, TX (KVRR) – The North Dakota State Bison are champions once again! They took down the Montana State Bobcats 35-32 in the FCS Championship down in Frisco, TX.
NDSU have won their 10th FCS title since starting their dynasty in 2011.
The Bison went into halftime with a 21-3 lead over the Bobcats before Montana State opened up the scoring in the second half. But Cam Miller stepped up when NDSU needed him most like he has done time and time again in his career. He led the Bison on a championship clinching drive with less than four minutes left.
Miller was masterful in his final game for the Herd, 19/22 for 200 yards passing with two touchdowns. He also finished with 119 yards rushing, which included a 64-yard TD run.
First year head coach, Tim Polasek, completes the story book ending to his opening salvo as the leading man with the Bison with a title.
