Moorhead Man Sentenced For Shooting After Argument Last March

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Cordell McFadden of Moorhead will spend eight years in prison for aggravated assault with a firearm.

He pleaded guilty to shooting another person in Fargo.

McFadden was arrested last March for the shooting in the 1700 block of 15th Avenue South near Fargo South.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

Investigators learned the victim and McFadden had an argument and McFadden was arrested later that day.

As part of the plea agreement, an attempted murder charge was dropped.
