Fargo Police Officer Facing DUI Charges Resigns

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Fargo Police Officer Brandon Rittenour has resigned, just weeks after being charged with two misdemeanors: DUI actual physical control and DUI refusal.

His resignation was effective immediately January 14.

In late December, Rittenour was arrested after allegedly crashing into three parked vehicles and a dumpster.

He had been placed on paid administrative leave.

In 2015, Rittenour was convicted of driving while intoxicated in Benton County, Minnesota.
