Two Arrested After Traffic Stop in West Fargo

The suspects briefly attempted to flee, but were cornered after a short pursuit.

WEST FARGO, N.D. – A pursuit in West Fargo has led to two people landing in custody.

The West Fargo Police Department says that at 11:17 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, they attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 200 block of 5th Street E.

The suspect vehicle fled south towards a parking lot in the 400 block of 7th Avenue E. where a felony stop was conducted.

The driver, David Matthew Berg, a 48-year-old male from West Fargo, North Dakota, was arrested for felony fleeing a peace officer and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

The passenger, Jaymie Raelyn Jensen, a 30-year-old female with no permanent address was arrested for felony possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to use an imitation controlled substance.

The vehicle was also seized. There were no injuries to emergency personnel, suspects or bystanders.
