Court Documents Show Moorhead Man Had Been Drinking Before Fatal Crash

CLAY CO., Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — Courts documents show a Moorhead man charged in a fatal crash on Saturday night was drinking at Buffalo Wild Wings in Moorhead shortly before the collision on Highway 75 in Oakport Township.

28-year-old Christopher Pink is charged with criminal vehicular homicide in the death of 43-year-old Jennifer Watson of Ennis, Texas.

She had been living in north of Moorhead.

The state patrol says Pink was driving in the wrong lane when he collided with Watson’s SUV, killing her and her dog.

At the scene, Pink denied that he’d been drinking when he was interviewed by a state trooper.
