Clay County Investigating Deadly Crash Near Fergus Falls Involving Woman In A Pursuit
OTTER TAIL CO.,Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting says a woman involved in a pursuit died when she crashed into the back of a semi near Fergus Falls.
He says the chase with the St. Francis, Minnesota woman began in Grant County in western Minnesota on Monday.
The crash happened on I-94 southeast of Fergus Falls last night around 8 p.m.
Empting says his office was asked to conduct the investigation by Minnesota State Patrol.
St. Francis is located 45 minutes north of Minneapolis.
