Minnesota State Trooper charged with production of child porn

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KVRR) — A Minnesota state trooper has been charged in federal court with production of child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Jeremy Plonski was arrested and will remain in custody pending a detention hearing.
He was taken to the Sherburne County Jail in Elk River, which has a contract to hold federal prisoners.
The patrol says Plonski has been an employee of the agency since 2022 and has been placed on administrative leave while an internal affairs investigation is conducted.
Plonski has also been a member of the Minnesota National Guard since 2013.
