Grand Forks Woman Arrested For Driving While Under Drugs With Young Son in Vehicle

OTTER TAIL CO., Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Grand Forks woman has been charged with driving while high on drugs with her young son in the car.

The State Patrol stopped 30-year-old Megan Thorsen for driving erratically on I-94 near Fergus Falls on Saturday afternoon.

Thorsen was arrested and charged with 5th degree drug possession and 3rd degree DWI.

She told the trooper she had been driving for a while.

The trooper noticed signs of drug intoxication and after a search of her vehicle found fentanyl and a hypodermic needle and she was arrested.
