North Dakota customers to receive small credit on Otter Tail Power electric bills

FARGO (KVRR-Prairie Public) – Otter Tail Power Co. electric customers in North Dakota will see a credit on their bills.
North Dakota Public Service Commissioner Sheri Haugen-Hoffart says Otter Tail will be receiving “production tax credits” for repowering wind farms in North Dakota.
“A residential customer consuming 1,000 kilowatts per month will have a monthly credit of $2.88, which is a $5.27 decrease from the previous rate,” Haugen-Hoffart said.
The credit will be in place through March 31st, 2026.
