Death of Man Found at Bottom of Stairwell in Jamestown Under Investigation

Police were called to an entrance of the apartment building shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday. The property owner reported finding a man at the bottom of a stairwell who appeared to be deceased. Police determined the man had been dead for several hours.

Police say the death does not appear to be suspicious, but the investigation continues.

There have been significant leads developed on the man’s identity and police are working to locate and notify relatives.
