Fans in North Dakota may soon be able to have Vikings license plates

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Vikings fans in North Dakota may soon be able to show their support for the team with custom license plates.

The Vikings Foundation is working with the North Dakota Department of Transportation to make custom license plates similar to those available in Minnesota.

However, they need at least fifty people to sign up for the plates, or they won’t get made.

Those interested have to fill out an application for a custom plate, which is also available on the Vikings website, and mail a check.

The first fifty applicants will be given a special gift from the foundation as a thank you for their support.

There is no word yet on what these license plates will look like.
