Single-Car Accident Under Investigation in Fargo

A Cass County Deputy was first on the scene of the wreck, and broke a window in an attempt to rescue the driver of the car.

FARGO, N.D. – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early-morning crash after one of their deputies happened upon a destructive crash.

The office says that right after 1:30 A.M. on the morning of June 8, said deputy discovered an overturned vehicle in the 3500 block of 36th Street South.

The driver of the car was still inside and appeared unconscious with a head injury.

The deputy broke a car window, which is when the female driver began to regain consciousness and crawled out of the vehicle.

There were no signs of impairment, and Sanford EMS transported the driver to a local hospital. The driver was cited for Care Required.

This crash is still under investigation.
