Governor Walz maintains strong approval numbers

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – A new poll shows that most Minnesotans approve of the job Governor Tim Walz is doing for Minnesota, but they’re not sure if he should run for a third term.

According to a KSTP/Survey USA poll, 58% of Minnesotans approve of the governor’s job performance, while 39% disapprove. When the group was asked if he should run for a third term, 43% said yes, 43%  said no, with 13% unsure.

When asked about running for a third term, Governor Walz says he needed to talk it over with family and travel the state. He says a decision could be coming soon.
