FARGO, N.D. – Folks filled Broadway Square this evening for the Fargo Police Department’s annual community picnic.

The festivities stretched into surrounding streets, which contained inflatables and interactive exhibits for the kids.

There was live music, many local vendors, and an atmosphere of fun in the air.

Captain Matthew Christensen said he looks forward to this event every year.

“The interaction with the public is good, to see the kids come out here and do the different activities, and see them having a good time, I really enjoy it,” he said.

The picnic got underway at 5:00 P.M. and wrapped up at 8.
